The documentary film "Sunshine on the horizon" produced by Civic Tracks stands up against prejudices for the differences between the people and proves that all young people are against divisions on any basis. The film shows that young people have a strong passion for life, peace, friendship and cooperation, regardless of religion, race, colour, gender, language, national or social status. "Sunshine on the horizon" is also a message against the deviant appearances (drugs, alcoholism, criminal..) that destroy youth, and it aims to emphasize that the fear of those deviant appearances is real, instead of the fear from cultural differences which they actually make life more beautiful.
The film presents the stories of 10 young people, namely young Macedonian, Albanian, Turk, Romas, Vlah, Serbian, as well as an American, German and French. Everyone talks in his own language about everyday life, work or education, culture of living, religion, good and bad habits, hobby, visions, desires... or in other words, a black and white world with all the good and bad things that make up life. This documentary film is a multi-ethnic postcard for the young people who live in the region, for the way of life and present cultures, and it has been put at the disposal of the local management of Bitola as a promotional material in its international contacts. The project was supported by UNCHR and Catholic Relief Service CRS.
